Peat PlusTM certified organic Soil Conditioner is made with hand harvested Norwegian seaweed (ASCOPHYLLUM nodosum) and sun dried Canadian sphagnum peat moss as a base. Then we blend in a natural mineral, horticultural grade perlite.

"... it has now been established that Norwegian (ASCOPHYLLUM nodosum), and other brown seaweed, contain many naturally occurring plant growth regulators, namely cytokinins, gibberellins, and indoles." 5-2 Seaweed and Plant Growth by T.L. Senn, Ph.D.
